GASIMP Chairman Receives Missing Persons Association of Tarhuna

   The Chairman of the General Authority for Search and Identification of Missing Persons (GASIMP), Prof. Dr. Kamal Al-Siwi, received representatives from the Missing Persons Association of Tarhuna. The meeting was held to address the association’s concerns and clarify technical aspects of ongoing field operations within the city’s sensitive sites.

Addressing Complex Field Challenges

During the meeting, the Chairman discussed the status of suspected mass grave locations, specifically the site known as the “Triangle of Death.” He highlighted the logistical difficulties at this location due to the accumulation of construction debris.

Prof. Dr. Al-Siwi assured the representatives that GASIMP is actively coordinating with relevant authorities to resolve these obstacles, ensuring that field teams can carry out their tasks efficiently and safely.

Commitment to the Humanitarian Mission

The association’s representatives praised GASIMP’s consistent efforts in identifying many victims from Tarhuna and its dedication to supporting affected families.
