Dutch Ambassador Visits GASIMP’s Headquarters.

   This morning, Tuesday, December 2, 2025,  Prof. Dr. Kamal Abubaker, Chairman of GASIMP, received His Excellency Arian Jolienrif, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Libya, accompanied by First Secretary Mr. Simon van der Stag and Mr. Taha Al-Mislati, Policy Officer at the Embassy.

The visit, held at GASIMP headquarters, aimed to review efforts in the missing persons file and explore ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides.

The visit included an introductory meeting where the Chairman presented a comprehensive overview of GASIMP’s key ongoing projects and future development plans.

Following the meeting, the Ambassador and his delegation toured various departments of GASIMP. He praised the remarkable progress achieved in the missing persons file, particularly in search and identification efforts in the cities of Derna and Tarhuna.

For his side, the Chairman expressed his great appreciation for the visit, reaffirming GASIMP’s keenness to expand cooperation with the Dutch side to support national efforts in addressing this vital humanitarian issue.
